Christmas tree
We offer you to rent a potted tree. They return to their farm in January. You'll be able to get the same one next year. We recommend that you give them first names so that they can be welcomed into your home each Christmas. Overall, the trees are very well behaved and make excellent house guests. When they reach 7 feet in height, they "retire" and are planted in a forest.

Rent a tree from one of our hubs, then collect it.

To ensure survival, water daily and keep away from heat sources.
Return
Return your tree to the same hub from which it was collected, and it will be returned to the Farm to be cared for until next year.

About
Every year, 7 million trees are disposed of in landfills, and the thousands of pine needles on these trees take a long time to decompose when compared to other tree leaves. They produce methane gas when they rot, which is 25 times more potent as a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide.
According to the Carbon Trust, the carbon footprint of a 6ft real Christmas tree is the equivalent of 16kg of CO2 if it ends up in landfill. This equates to 100,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions from the 7 million trees.
